Lavender Harvest

First, did you notice Tallgrass Design's new look?  I decided it was time to freshen up the ol' blog.

This is one of my favorite garden chores: 

Harvesting the lavender.

I sat on the deck as the sun set and made bundles.

Fortunately the last round of oregano was finished drying so I had room for the lavender. 

Oh, how I love the sweet-spicy-old-fashioned-soapy aroma of lavender!
