Shabby Toolbox

Found in a thrift store on a Saturday morning:

I sanded the cheesy Christmas wreath from it.  I felt a little bad about this since someone had taken the care to SIGN IT.

Then again, it landed in a thrift store.

I think it looks better now.

It will have a good home with me.

  1. What an amazing transformation! Sometimes I feel bad to going over someone else's work but you did a great job. I'm sure they'd be happy! =) Coming over from Inspiration Friday and your newest follower!

P.S. My sister did something similar to this and ended up using it as a dining caddy to hold utensils and napkins on her patio table!

  3. What a sweet project, Heather! I love it when someone finds a shabby little non-descript something and makes something fabulous with it! Great job! :)
